[WATCH] Fox News Host To Obama : Is Wasn’t Fox News That Caused Dems To Lose Election … It Was You
Fox News’ Neil Cavuto took Barack Obama down a few pegs over the matter of what it actually was that caused the Democrats to lose the 2016 presidential election.
Much of the Left has speculated that Hillary Clinton’s loss had nothing to do with her or her platform, but instead had everything to do with the fact that America is a bunch of racist, sexist, bigotist, white-supremacists who got suckered into believing “fake news” articles.
Even Barack Obama inserted himself into the conversation of speculation over why the Democrats lost. In an interview with Rolling Stones Magazine, Obama said,
“Part of it is Fox News in every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country, but part of it is also Democrats not working at a grassroots level, being in there, showing up, making arguments.”
Neil Cavuto was having none of it, and suggested that Obama was in denial over the Democratic Party’s loss.
“To this day, he’s convinced that it is not anything that he did, but that it is anything and everything else.”
He went on to say that it was the president’s policies that were actually to blame.
“Fox News didn’t create this populist wave, your policies did.”
Cavuto also pointed out that, prior to the election, Obama went out campaigning for candidate Hillary Clinton. While stumping for the former Secretary of State, Obama repeatedly told audience members that his policies were on the ballet because Hillary was going to be the one to continue the policies of the last eight years.
The fact that Hillary lost seems to be a complete repudiation of the fundamental transformation of the United States.
Cavuto spoke as if addressing Obama,
“You were the reason they were angry. Your were the reason they were anxious.
Boasting more government when maybe voters wanted less government.”
Share this if you think Cavuto is right on with his remarks, that the 2016 presidential election results were a repudiation of Obama’s policies.
