Meme Takes Down Fashion Designers Who Worked For Michelle But Objected To Working For Melania
After the election of Donald Trump, in November of 2016, the Left spent months trying to cope with their loss and determining how best to undermine the duly elected 45th President of the United States.
One such passive aggressive means of accomplishing this was to issue a call to all fashion designers to refuse to dress First Lady and former fashion model, Melania Trump.
Though the Left is always preaching the values of open-mindedness, diversity, and inclusiveness, it’s usually just code-words that mean, “We will accept you as long as you think like us and believe what we believe.”
For example, purveyor of luxury fashion, which is just a fancy way of saying fashion designer, Sophie Theallet, issued an open letter that made it clear that she would not offer her services to First Lady Melania Trump, as she had done for Michelle Obama.
Theallet explained her reasoning was the “rhetoric” that she claims was coming from Donald Trump. Such rhetoric includes claims of racism, sexism, and xenophobia.
“As an independent fashion brand, we consider our voice an expression of our artistic and philosophical ideas.
The Sophie Theallet brand stands against all discrimination and prejudice.”
However, this restriction on dressing the First Lady was not adhered to by everyone as iconic fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana have proudly accepted the honor of being the ones to dress the First Lady.
What’s funny about the situation is that Dolce & Gabbana have also capitalized on the Left’s efforts to boycott their brand by selling clothes with the #Boycott Dolce & Gabbana printed on them.
In other words, through the magic of Capitalism, creativity, and determination, the fashion designers, who are behind Melania Trump’s stunning outfits, have devised a way to enrich themselves off of the fascistic intolerance of the Left
Share this if you are glad, based on some of the outfits that were put together for Michelle, that the Left has refused to dress Melania.
