Petition To Label AntiFa A Terrorist Group Quickly Gaining Steam

By  |

A White House petition to officially recognize AntiFa as a terrorist group quickly gained support, surpassing the stated goal of 100,000 signatures three times over.

If you are unfamiliar with AntiFa, it’s a radical Left-wing organization that makes headlines whenever it shows up to protest. The term is short for “anti-fascist.”

Often clad all in black, wearing gloves, helmets and bandannas, the group works to maintain anonymity as they work to disrupt whatever event they are disrupting.

In Berkeley, to protest conservative speakers at the university, AntiFa members set fire to property and destroyed shop windows in the business district.

Members of the group have been seen wielding clubs, bottles filled with urine, rocks, and other projectiles, and often turn violent against those who disagree with their point of view of things.

The group has also turned its anger and rage against the local authorities who are merely trying to maintain order.

The petition to formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization includes the following description:

“Terrorism is defined as ‘the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims.’

This definition is the same definition used to declare ISIS and other groups, as terrorist organizations.

AntiFa has earned this title due to its violent actions in multiple cities and their influence in the killings of multiple police officers throughout the United States.

It is time for the pentagon to be consistent in its actions – and just as they rightfully declared ISIS a terror group, they must declare AntiFa a terror group – on the grounds of principle, integrity, morality, and safety.”

Because the petition reached more than 100,000 signatures within the first 30 days of its posting, the Trump White House will issue an official response within 60 days of the petition reaching its goal.

Let us know if you think AntiFa should be officially recognized as a terrorist group.
