Sarah Palin Calls On Trump To Quit UN

By  |

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is calling on the Donald Trump administration to pull the United States completely out of the United Nations.

Palin made her comments while discussing UN Security Council Resolution 2234 on Breitbart News Daily.

The resolution, passed unanimously by the United Nations, identified Israel as an occupying force, and demanded that the tiny Jewish nation no longer build settlements in the territory disputed by Palestine.

“…Reaffirming the obligation of Israel, the occupying Power, to abide scrupulously by its legal obligations and responsibilities under the Fourth Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, and recalling the advisory opinion rendered on 9 July 2004 by the International Court of Justice.”

At the time of passage of Resolution 2234, the United States, with Barack Obama still as president, failed to veto the measure, which was as much of a stab in the back to America’s long-time ally as the Iranian Nuclear Deal that allowed a pathway for Iran to finish building its nuclear arsenal.

Sarah Palin called on Donald Trump to exit the United Nations, claiming that it would be an “unshackling of political bands.”

“By exiting the U.N., where injustice is actually rewarded, we then will be able to uphold America’s reputation as the leader, and as the kind and compassionate and generous nation that we are – as the nation sharing values that, when emulated by any other nation, can bring justice and equal rights to any other nation.”

She went on to point out the irony that the Left in the United States are demanding that the border-agreements between Israel and Palestine be strictly adhered to, while at the same time, Liberals are ignoring the fact that they have been refusing to enforce America’s borders for years.
