[VIDEO] Jesse Watters Takes On Case Of Illegal Immigrant Sergio Martinez, Who Had A History Of Arrests, Who Attacked 65 Year Old Woman

By  |

Fox News’ Jesse Watters of Watters’ Words spent a segment offering a real world example that demonstrates why a stiffer immigration policy is necessary and how American sanctuary city policies are detrimental to the American way of life.

Watters brought up the case of Sergio Jose Martinez who is facing charges of robbery, burglary, kidnapping, and sexual abuse of two seperate victims.

According to Fox 12, court documents claim that the 31-year-old Mexican national broke into a Portland residence, and tied up the 65-year-old woman inside.

Martinez then allegedly beat her, sexually assaulted her, and left with her keys, phone, credit cards, and car.

Investigators also connected the illegal alien with an incident that happened in an underground parking garage.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Martinez approached a woman, claiming that he just wanted to talk.

He then threatened her with a six-inch knife, and threatened to kill her if she did not cooperate. He tried to force her into her own car, but the attacker fled when she hit the panic button and began screaming, alerting those nearby that something was amiss.

The police arrived at the scene, and chased Martinez through a nearby neighborhood. When he was captured, he was discovered to have stolen items that belonged to each of the female victims.

The bizarre facts surrounding this case is that Martinez is an illegal immigrant with a string of criminal convictions under his belt, and somebody who had been deported from the United States at least 20 times.

In fact, just 7 months prior to allegedly committing these attacks on these two innocent women, Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued an immigration detainer to local Portland authorities to hand Martinez over to them for processing.

Instead, being a proud Liberal sanctuary city, Portland released Martinez back onto the American streets, refusing to comply with federal immigration officials.

Waters points out that sanctuary city policies are having very real, and very harmful effects in the United States.
