House Democrats Endorse Fundraiser On Behalf Of Antifa Fascists
Two House members of the Squad, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), have come out in support of a fundraising campaign that will provide legal aid and bail money to 36 arrested counter-protesters, many of whom have self-identified as members of the fascist organization ironically named Antifa (short for Anti-fascist), during Boston’s Straight Pride Parade.
AOC Tweeted out:
One way to support the local LGBTQ community impacted by Boston’s white supremacist parade?

Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley Tweeted:
Join me right now in making a contribution. TY to the allies & accomplices who stood in the gap & laid their bodies on the line today in affront #LGBT hate march. To everyone feeling unseen & vulnerable today…we got you. Equitable outrage. Our destinies & freedoms are tied. https://t.co/xwHQDX7UG2

The fundraiser provides the following information:
“Known fascists and white supremacists, under the front organization Super Happy Fun America, are descending on Boston for “Straight Pride” on Saturday, 8/31.
As we have for the last 3 years, Boston will repel them with beautiful and bold direct action! In preparation for possible unplanned arrests, we are raising $2500 to cover any legal fees, as well as supplies for jail support (rides home, food, changes of clothes, etc).”
Before we go any further, it’s important to identify the two parties involved in the Straight Pride Parade to give some context to the situation.
On the one side is a group called Super Happy Fun America. This group claims to be advocating on behalf of the rights of the straight community.
In reality, the group is sort of a spoof on the LGBT community activists who are pushing for special treatment rather than equal treatment. The bottom line that the group seems to be going for is that Free Speech is being stifled under an authoritarian rule that is comprised of multiple special interest groups.
In April, the group advocated for Boston’s City Hall to fly the “Straight Pride” flag along side the “Gay Pride” flag that is currently hanging. The group claimed that their blue and pink flag “has represented our community for over 0.4 years.”
City Hall rejected the proposed flag (pictured above), explaining that it is within their rights to reject or approve the flags that hang outside their building for whatever reason.
Super Happy Fun America then asked that they be allowed to hold a Straight Pride Parade along the same route that the LGBT community had theirs.
The group cited a Massachusetts law that prevented discrimination based on sexual orientation.
“MGL c.272, s.98 prohibits discrimination based upon sexual orientation in places of public accommodation.”
Despite outrage from the Left and with the threat of a discrimination lawsuit looming, the Boston City Council had no choice but to accept the request and the planning for the Straight Pride Parade kicked into gear.
The group used the face of Brad Pitt (without his permission) as their official mascot and listed Elizabeth Warren as the “Secretary of Native American Affairs.”
On Super Happy Fun America’s website, Warren’s bio reads as follows:
“As a straight woman of Cherokee ancestry, Senator Warren has overcome the intersection of multiple sources of oppression to become a contender for the Democratic party’s presidential nominee. She has had success as a real estate developer profiting on buying and selling foreclosed properties and was deemed one of Harvard University’s most esteemed minority professors.”
As Grand Parade Marshal for the Straight Pride Parade, organizers chose Milo Yiannopoulos. Yiannopoulos is an advocate for political conservatism who happens to also be gay.
Needless to say, the group’s mission seems to be to troll and trigger the Left’s activists while having a good time doing so.
Indeed, during their parade, which hundreds of participants attended, including Conservative YouTube Commentator Brooks Heatherly, several marchers were dressed in clown costumes.
Again, the event was not meant to be taken seriously as some sort of homophobic attack, but was instead a spoof on Gay Pride Month and the authoritarian activists who try to silence those who disagree with their positions. It’s to point out the hypocrisy that certain groups are praised for their marches and have ceremonies endorsed by the government when they raise their flags on government buildings while other groups, that happen to include over 90% of the country, are shamed for being the way they are and are condemned and ridiculed by government officials for wanting to express pride in their identity. It’s a double standard.
On the day of the Straight Pride Parade, another group showed up to the event, masked and clad entirely in black, known as Antifa. The group claims to be on a mission to attack “Nazis” and “fascists.” However, the group’s definition of a fascist seems to include anyone who disagrees with them or who is on the other side of whatever event they show up to.
Antifa is, by definition, a domestic terrorist organization. Politico revealed that, in 2016, Homeland Security officials have labeled the group as a domestic terrorist organization. The group has a long and sordid history of fomenting chaos and violence that has lead to the destruction of property and the severe injuries to others (including innocent by-standards who happen to be simply passing through their events).
After clashes with the police and members of the crowd, during the Straight Pride Parade, police officers wound up arresting 36 individuals. These charges were tallied by journalist (and previous victim to Antifa violence) Andy Nago:

The bottom line to this story is that a bunch of people held an event to troll the Left and to point out the hypocrisy that one side is allowed to speak while the other side is not.
In response, Leftist fascists (by definition) showed up and fomented chaos and engaged in violent acts to disrupt the event.
The situation only proved the point that the organizers of the event were trying to make. The Left does not tolerate voices of dissent or differing opinions.
AOC labeled the event a “white supremacist parade.”
Super Happy Fun America responded to the congresswoman’s claim with a statement to the Daily Caller:
“Not sure which parade and ceremony she watched over the weekend, but of the 12 speakers on our stage, five were African-American, four were women, and three were African-American women. This was not intentional on our behalf, they reached out to us in support of our movement–it happened organically. If you remove the three main organizers from the lineup, the majority of speakers were African-American.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ayanna Pressley also shared a link to a bail fundraiser set up in advance of the parade, which gives people the impression that they condone illegal behavior. This is not a good example for elected officials to set, and contributes to dangers associated with free-speech and activism in general.
The only connections to racism are in the deluded minds of protesters who all repeat the same mantra against those whom they disagree with: Racist, Fascist, Nazi, etc., are what detractors fall back on when their arguments are met with logical and rational push-back. They cannot win on an intellectual level, so they resort to name-calling. Those same people must have missed the Israeli flags and African-American supporters in our group.”
As of this article’s publication, the fundraiser for legal assistance for the domestic terrorists, endorsed by Democrats in Congress, has surpassed it’s goal nearly ten times over.
